for a Roundtable Discussion of Basic Concepts of eDiscovery
GUEST SPEAKERS: TOM O'CONNOR AND DREW GOLETZ
As electronic discovery has become increasingly complex and expensive, driven by explosive data growth and constantly changing technology, we constantly get asked “can you explain eDiscovery to me in easy-to-understand terms?”
Our solution to that request is a roundtable with your staff that covers the full lifecycle of eDiscovery, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production. It also introduces key tools such as keyword search, Boolean search, natural-language search, clustering, concept search, and technology-assisted review (TAR).
And of course, AI!
We emphasize defensibility, cost control, and the importance of human judgment as reflected in our theme that “Technology is NOT the key to successful management of eDiscovery … people are.”
Our goal is to leave you with a foundational understanding of the eDiscovery process, the major risks and decision points, and practical steps for managing data efficiently and ethically in litigation.
